Premise :
The town of Bricole, the Aetherworld.
The Witch Lisbeth Truffle of Iris Cottage suffers from a little...demonic problem.
All her own doing, though, after a summoning gone wrong – magic which ripples through haunted nature and reaches for The Root Mother. Between Lisbeth running her small potion shop and dabbling in commissions as a 'party magician', the wily Demon continues to find themself in her life like a curved throwing stick. Though Lisbeth cannot truly complain. Over the years, the two have become dear friends.
Malice is a Demon bored and irritable – put off by the creatures who inhabit the realm, with the exception of sweet Lisbeth. Existence would be awfully dull without her...and the fruit and herbal teas and cakes, over idle conversation. Amidst their weekly afternoon teatime and endless flowers, things go awry when no answer shows at Malice's door...and instead, a letter from a gentleman asking them to never meet with Lisbeth again. But the carefree Demon has no plans to so easily let their precious Witch go. The two devise a plan to trick the high society members of the city: posing Malice as a visiting gentleman to deter all marriage seekers through a fake courtship. But as the ruse succeeds, Malice and Lisbeth slip too comfortably into their roles.
Where will the line be drawn between act and sincerity – if it can even be carved at all?
